Red Barn

©2005 Elizabeth.

My mother-in-law & father-in-law live on a very beautiful piece of land in the country. They have a great barn that they built on their property and I wanted to capture it in a painting. Here is a link to a photograph of their barn, which I used as a guide for my painting.

I love all your paintings. I'm so impressed that you can do that and you haven't even had any training! My brain is allabout words, I can barely draw a stick figure.

One of these days, I'd love to get one for house.

Very nice. I love the way you've done the grass.

I read the above comment and I thinks it's kind of funny, I often feel the same way about words that she feels about the visual arts.

I love your paintings, Beth!
You´re very original, your sense of colour is great and you´re so good at capturing moods in the subjects you choose, creating feelings of joy, nostalgia, dreams, beauty...

Beth, you have a real sense of color and form. Beautiful! I am impressed. Will be looking forward to more of your creative efforts. How do you find the time?
