Tuscany (mural)

©2004 Elizabeth.

This was my first attempt with painting murals. Scott encouraged me to try, so I did - on our bedroom wall. The dimensions are approximately 8x12 feet. I used a very limited color palette of red, yellow, blue and white latex house paint and a little bit of burnt umber from my painting supplies for shadows. (The image shown here is of several photographs pieced together, since I was unable to fit the entire painting into one frame.)

I like the painting, but I'm really impressed with how you've gotten such quality reproductions of your artwork digitalized. You are obviously much more patient then I am.
